STONE RIPRAP
Stone riprap is one of Spicewood Crushed Stone’s specialties. Riprap products range from 6″ gabion stone to 5-ton boulders. Our riprap is some of the best available for erosion control, storm protection, and landscaping needs.
3″ x 5″ CONSTRUCTION EXIT STONE
Our 3″ x 5″ stones are excellent for use around construction sites, especially in construction exits to prevent tracking of sediment/dirt onto public roadways.
4″ x 8″ GABION STONE
Our 4″ x 8″ stones are excellent for use as filter stones, in stacked gabion walls, silt traps, and for stream bank stabilization.
STONE RIPRAP / ARMOR STONE
Our stone riprap is available in several sizes. Typical sizes range from 6″ all the way up to 30″. Stone riprap can be used for slope and embankment stabilization, for scour protection at pipe and culvert inlets/outlets and bridge abutments, for coastal erosion control, and for natural streambank and river restoration.
We produce all TXDOT and City of Austin specified sizes. We can also produce ASTM and custom sizes upon request.
