CRUSHED STONE

Our crushed stone products can be used in a variety of applications.  Base stone can be used in foundations for homes, highways, hospitals, schools, libraries, and more.  Our aggregates can also be used for building driveways, ditch construction, public works, erosion control, embankments, backfill, and landscaping.  Our finer grades of crushed stone are used as a raw material for concrete and hot mix asphalt.

Commercial Base (1-1/2″ minus)
TXDOT Flex Base (1-3/4″ minus)

Typical Sizing:
1-1/2″ to 1-3/4″ minus

Applications: 
Commonly used as sub base and base for highways, roads, driveways, and parking lots.  Suitable as select backfill, road shoulder material, and to place under concrete curbs and gutters.  Base stone is well graded in size from 1-1/2″ stones down to a fine powder.  These grades get best results when compacted in place.

Typical Sizing:
3″ material down to 1/4″

Applications: 
These versatile stones are perfect for a variety of commercial and residential uses, including use in asphalt pavement or ready-mix concrete.  Other applications include septic fields, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, concrete slab bedding, and residential drainage.

Applications: 
Commonly used in hot mix asphalt and concrete, as a backfill for underground utilities, and for pad fill.
